The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.
SASSA will likely be rendering solutions like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regard to the substantial quantity of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your large number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The company place designed for intervention encounters a large influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes website it hard to the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service website point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional sources to enable the servicing of all customers and maximize usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
